Picnic Project is a partner 501(C)3 organization in the community entirely run by volunteers. For over 8 years, Picnic Project has provided a hot chef-prepared meal to anyone in the community who wants to be there. Folks from all over Sanford come and eat together, share resources, build relationships and take care of one another.

We meet every Monday in McKinley Hall for discussion of Sunday’s sermon. Childcare is available by reservation. Contact Pastor Meghan at meghank@fumcsanford.org.

This ministry provides quilts and afghans upon request for people who need that expression of God’s love. The quilting ministry meets in the quilting room.

This is a combined adult & youth choir. They practice on Wednesdays and sing in worship on Sundays at 10:00am.

Special Needs Ability Program (SNAP)  Parent Information & Support Group: Meets every other Thursday evening for dinner, workshops, parent information and support.

Our evening worship service is now being held two Sundays a month. They will be on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. Sunday evening worship is a casual, contemplative and conversational service at 5:30pm in McKinley Hall. The service centers around communion and features community testimony and dialogue. The Book Club meets on the 4th Thursday of the month @ 6:00pm. This month's book discussion is on The Shimmering Road by Hester Young This month’s meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall which is in the building behind the church on 5th Street.
